Searching for cases using public case number
Using the navigation bar on the left hand side, the user can select Cases. This will bring up the Case Search
screen. Users can then enter the Court Public Case Number in the field labeled case number.
The user must enter the full case number, a partial case number will not yield the correct results.

Searching for cases using defendant information
Using the navigation bar on the left hand side, the user can select Cases. This will bring up the Case Search
screen. Users can then enter the defendants last name, first name, middle name, and/or date of birth. The system will then pull all the cases
with defendants that match the name entered. Only one of these fields are required for the system to initiate a search however, if the search yields
more than 500 results for the name entered, the system will
warn the user that the search criteria has returned too many results. The user must then specify a more refined search criteria.
Once the system returns a list of search results the user can then click on the case number to see details of that particular case.

Searching for cases using court date
Using the navigation bar on the left hand side, the user can select Calendar. This will bring up the Calendar Search
screen. Users can then enter the Justice Center, Courtroom, Hearing Date, and/or prosecutor associated with the case. Only the Hearing Date field is required for the system to initiate a search however, if the search yields
more than 500 results for the date entered, the system will
warn the user that the search criteria has returned too many results. The user must then specify a more refined search criteria.

Information available for each case.
General Information
Once the user has selected a particular case to view, the Case Number and Defendant name is shown on the top of the page.
Defendant Information
- Demographics - Underneath the defendant name, the user can expand the Demographics section to view the defendants Eye Color, Hair Color, Height and Weight.
- Names - By expanding the Names section the user can view any aliases or other names used by the defendant. This is also where the defendants month and year of birth is found.
Case Status
The current status of the Case is then shown, along with the following fields:

This field contains the stage of the case.

|
This field contains the release status of the defendant.

Warrants
|
This field indicates if an outstanding warrant has been issued for the defendant.

DMV Hold
|
This field indicates if there is a DMV Hold for the defendant.
|
|
Charging Documents
|
This field indicates the type of current charging document filed on the case.
|
|
Mandatory Appearance
|
This field indicates if the defendant has a mandatory appearance scheduled.
|
|
Amendment #
|
This field indicates the number of times the charging document has been changed.

Additional information for each case are then divided into 4 different sections:
Case Info, Hearing Info, Release Info, and Sentencing
The Case Info tab holds information for the defendants Counts, Priors, Co Defendants, Participants, and Other Cases.
Counts
The Counts table allows the user to view all violations for the current defendant

| Section Statute | This field contains the section and statute of the violation code associated with the count. |

(Offense Level values are Felony, Misdemeanor, Infraction) |
| Plea | This field contains the plea entered for each violation. |
| Plea Date | This field contains the date the plea was entered for each violation |
| Disposition | This field contains the outcome of the proceedings. |
| Disposition Date | This field indicated the disposition date. |
Priors
The Priors table provides the capability to view prior count information on the defendant

| Case | This field indicates the prior case number. |
| Section Statute | This field contains the charge description corresponding to the section and statute. |
| Violation Date | This field indicates the date of the violation. |
| Plea | This field contains the plea entered for each violation. |
| Plea Date | This field contains the date the plea was entered for each violation |
| Disposition | This field contains the outcome of the proceedings. |
| Disposition Date | This field indicated the disposition date. |
Co Defendants
The Co-defendants table allows the user to view all defendants that are associated with the present case and defendant.

| Release Status | This field contains the status of the case. |
| Status Date | This field indicates the date of the status. |
Participants
The Participants table allows the user to view all the people who are professionally associated with the case, such as arresting officers and attorneys.

| Role | This field indicates the type of participant association of the person to the defendant. |
| Badge Number | This field contains the badge number of the participant. |
| Agency | This field contains the name of the agency the participant is associated with. |
| Name | This field contains the name of the participant associated with the case. |
Other Cases
The Other Cases table displays the cases that are associated to the present case.

| Case | This field indicates the type of participant association of the person to the defendant. |
| Case Status | This field contains case number. |
| Violation Date | This field contains the status of the case. |
| Name | This field indicates the date the offense occurred. |
The Hearing Info tab displays all courtroom appearances, both scheduled and previously held.
Scheduled Hearings
The Scheduled Hearings table indicates the court appearances that are currently scheduled for the defendant.

| Hearing Type - Reason | This field indicates what type of hearing is scheduled and the reason the appearance is on the calendar. |
| Courtroom | This field contains the location of the courtroom where the proceedings are to take place |
Heard Hearings
The Heard Hearings table contains any hearings previously held or canceled, providing the user with a history of the courtroom appearances of the defendant.

| Hearing Type - Reason | This field indicates what type of hearing was scheduled and the reason the appearance was on the calendar. |

| Hearing Status | This field contains the outcome of the proceedings. |
The Release Info tab displays all information regarding the conditional release of a defendant such as bail, bond and warrant information
Bail
The Bail table is used to view all persons who have posted bail for the defendant. The table displays the date the bail was posted, the amount posted, and the name of the person posting bail. The table also displays the history of the bail activity.

Bonds
The Bonds table enables the user to view the bondsman and surety agency information for a case, as well as the date the bond was posted and the amount of the bond.

Warrants
The Warrants table will display information on any warrants issued for the defendant. This table includes information on the status of the warrant, the date the warrant was dispositioned, the issuing judge, the issuing court, and reason for the warrant.

| Date | This field contains the date of the court proceeding regarding the warrant. |
| Judge | This field indicates the name of the judge who issued the warrant. |
| Warrant Number | This field contains the identifying number from the Orange County Sheriff. |
| Issuing Court | This field indicates the Justice Center where the warrant was issued. |
| Reason | This field contains the reason for the warrant. |
| Release Condition | This field contains any conditions placed upon the defendant for release. |
| Amount | This field contains the stated bail amount if the defendant desires to post bail. |
The Sentencing tab displays all information regarding the sentence of a defendant such as sentence, correctional institutions, and probation information.
Sentences
The Sentences table will display information on all sentencing for all violations of the defendant.

Probation
The Probation table allows the user to view the details defendant?s probations
